Best Practice Guide
- Clean the exterior of the stainless steel tube to remove any dirt or grease that could affect the bearing grip.
- Turn the X-CEL® knob anti-clockwise to open the jaws wider than the tube diameter.
- Place the cutter around the tube, aligning the cutting wheel exactly on your measurement mark.
- Tighten the knob clockwise until the cutting wheel and all six bearings make firm contact with the tube.
- Rotate the cutter smoothly around the tube in a single direction. After every full rotation, tighten the knob slightly (about a quarter turn).
- Continue rotating and tightening until the tube snaps cleanly. Use a reamer to remove any internal burrs if necessary.
