Brilliant piece of kit. I've been using it for stainless tube fabrication on catering equipment. The 6-67mm capacity means I only need this one cutter on the bench. Much better than the old Monument one I had.
The six bearings make a massive difference. Doesn't spiral at all on 316 stainless, which has always been a nightmare for me in the past. Worth every penny for a professional plumber.
Ordered online and got next day delivery to the site in Scotland. The X-CEL knob is great when you're wearing thick rigger gloves. Proper heavy-duty tool.
Cuts incredibly clean and the blade lasts ages. My only slight complaint is it's a bit bulky if you're trying to cut a pipe tight against a wall, but for bench work it's flawless.
Best stainless steel tube cutter price I could find online. Upgraded from a standard Rothenberger and the difference in the cut quality on 54mm press-fit stainless pipe is night and day.
Very solid build quality, exactly what you expect from RIDGID. It's quite heavy at nearly 0.7kg, which takes a bit of getting used to, but it definitely helps the cutter do the work.
